Thirteen Bled Promises: Heliopause fleets
19/12/12 || jaimeviejo
This Spanish band is the epitome of generic deathcore. You have hear it all before, with different names, logos, colors, tattoos and coming from different countries but still the same. While I enjoy deathcore once in a while for 10 minutes, I cannot understand how these guys thought that releasing this was a clever move. Yes, it is HEAVY, yes, there are BREAKDOWNS, yes, the vocals are insanely GROTESQUE AND BRUTAL but that won’t save an album. The musicianship is surprisingly good as they touch all the deathcore clichés ever with solid chops, but where are the cool ideas? Where is the band’s personality? The logo and the cover are pretty good for slam/brutal death standards. Boring riff salad album
3/10: Ni siquiera la brutalidad puede luchar contra el sopor.
After going thru that crap, you most likely wanna read something way more interesting. You do, admit it.
